Shipping Policy
All Insane Chains products may be shipped utilizing various services to do so. At time of shipping, all shipping information will be provided.
Return & Exchange Policy
Insane Chains products are warranted to be free from defective materials and workmanship from the date of purchase to the original purchaser when purchased from Insane Chains or an authorized dealer. This is a limited twelve-month warranty that is not transferable. Insane Chains will repair or replace, at its option, any Insane Chains product or part thereof which is found by Insane Chains to be defective. Insane Chains reserves the right to use materials readily available at the time of the repair. Warranty service requires a copy of the Proof of Purchase (sales receipt) to be presented at time of service request
What IS covered
Chain caps will be replaced to correct any defect in materials used and any defect attributable to workmanship.
What IS NOT covered

Shipping Damage. Report damage upon receipt of item to the carrier (i.e. USPS). Freight carriers must be notified upon receipt of items to ensure freight damage claim resolution. Shipping damage not filed with carriers immediately upon receipt will not be covered under warranty.

Modifications. Chain caps that have been modified after the original shipment from the Insane Chains factory.

Exterior finish. Chain caps that have been subjected to extreme operating conditions.

Misuse. Chain caps that have been damaged due to misuse, neglect, or accident.

Unauthorized Purchase. Chain caps that have been purchased from an unauthorized source.

Third-Party. Warranty claims by anyone other than the original purchaser.

Freight charges. Any and all charges incurred from priority service requests or priority shipping for replacements.

Aluminum covered chains. These chains are only intended for show or light use. Since we cannot regulate how these chains are used, no warranty is offered.
Return Authorization
All items being returned for any reason must have a Return Authorization Number. This RA# must be placed on the outside of the carton of the item being returned or the carton will be refused upon delivery. Please call the Insane Chains facility for a Return Authorization Number. Products being returned for factory service should be sent to the following address:

Field Service Terms
Customers will not pay for replacements provided the problem found is within warranty guidelines. Proof of purchase must be provided at the time of service request. Transportation charges to Insane Chains facility are the responsibility of the customer. Rush service charges and special freight charges for required parts are not covered under warranty and are also the responsibility of the customer
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

. Any charges for labor or processing when no problem is found are also not covered under warranty. Any charges incurred for work performed by any unauthorized person(s) are the responsibility of the customer.
