These 35-piece chain caps are made for kids' bikes with 14" wheels or smaller — typically ideal for riders aged 3 to 6, depending on height and ability.

Will these fit balance bikes or trikes?

Most balance bikes and trikes don’t have a chain, so these wouldn’t be compatible. Our caps are only for bikes with a single-speed 1/2" x 1/8" chain.

Are they safe for younger riders?

Yes — the caps are made from a durable, rounded plastic that’s safe to touch and won’t harm curious fingers. However, children should be supervised when installing or removing the caps..

How do I know if I need the kids' 35-piece size or the adult 56-piece size?

If your child’s bike has 14" wheels or smaller, go with the 35-piece pack. Anything larger (16" and up) needs the 56-piece size to cover the full chain.
